Using the advice in here I purchased 2-Behringer ECM 8000 mics. Recorded my first classical guitar session!

Used them thru a Yamaha AW4416 with slight EQ, COMP, and plate reverb. Used the Yammy pre's.

How does this piece sound??

That said, this is a very nice piece, nicely played and recorded on a good sounding guitar by a very good player. You should be very pleased with the results!

BTW, I'm curious, can you describe your mic placement in detail? That will make this more of a mic related thread.

Agent - idiot. I posted this song in the mic section on purpose. I wanted to see how the ECM8000's held up with your critique. Turns out I neither need your critique OR the mics as they are the noisest sons-of-bitches I've ever used. So much for taking the boards opinions for real.

Ok man, sorry about flying off the handle. I really wasn't trying to be as rude as it came out, and for what it's worth, I listened to your song and thought it sounded great, but maybe could use a tiny bit of reverb? Just my oppinion, don't change anything you don't want to. And sorry again for the unneccesary flamage. Sounds good, keep crankin em out man.
