Using the advice in here I purchased 2-Behringer ECM 8000 mics. Recorded my first classical guitar session!

Used them thru a Yamaha AW4416 with slight EQ, COMP, and plate reverb. Used the Yammy pre's.

How does this piece sound??

Dude, This kind of stuff belongs in the MP3 MIXING FORUM, you can post your stuff there for review. Not many people are gonna answer in here. SO GO THERE, POST THIS, THEN WE'LL LISTEN!

Yes, the MP3 Clinic is the place for MP3 reviews.

That said, this is a very nice piece, nicely played and recorded on a good sounding guitar by a very good player. You should be very pleased with the results!

BTW, I'm curious, can you describe your mic placement in detail? That will make this more of a mic related thread.

I dont wanna bust your balls here, but you will get a better response there.

and dudes be more cordial about that, we lose more members by flaming dudes for that.

Agent - idiot. I posted this song in the mic section on purpose. I wanted to see how the ECM8000's held up with your critique. Turns out I neither need your critique OR the mics as they are the noisest sons-of-bitches I've ever used. So much for taking the boards opinions for real.

Ok man, sorry about flying off the handle. I really wasn't trying to be as rude as it came out, and for what it's worth, I listened to your song and thought it sounded great, but maybe could use a tiny bit of reverb? Just my oppinion, don't change anything you don't want to. And sorry again for the unneccesary flamage. Sounds good, keep crankin em out man. :)
