The mix and production sound awesome. The vocals are placed well in the mix for the style...I've heard a LOT of rap, hip hop tracks that bury the vocals. It sounds very professional...I have to ask...is this really you?! I don't know you or anything, but this could be released professionally and sit well right next to like-sounding artists. Sounds mixed very well.. next question is how will it stand out to the other songs that sound similiar to that right now? If I didn't know it was your work, I would have thought I had already heard it. I know you were wanting opinions on the mix, but thats something to remember. Make sure you got something that will stick out.
Thanks for the compliments and yes that's my mix. This song is featuring C.H.A.D., an artist I work with, on the chorus and verse. The rest of the song has been sent to another artist in Shreveport, LA to add the two verses. I believe the people out of Shreveport will be promoting this to in clubs in Metro Shreveport, LA. This song has the popular hip hop music sound which I think is ok. Since this is not me rapping or my production it doesn’t matter to me if it has a chance to stand out versus other songs my only job is to make it sound like the artist/producer wants it to sound or better, you know, even thought I think it's a nice sounding track.
