criticize this a little

Interesting... The whole thing sounds like it's bricked pretty heavily. The thump of the kick, the bassline, and pretty much everything else that's high in the mix is distorting slightly, and consistently, throughout the whole thing. If that's the effect you want, then you got it. It gets pretty wearing to listen to the whole thing like that, though, because it's relentless.

I'm curious... You say "nothing's sampled"... Care to elaborate? I don't hear much that sounds like it isn't sampled...

What is with the kick going on for almost 30 full seconds after the finish of the tune?

For me, this tune would be pretty cool to listen to... I love a good trance pattern, and listen to it all day long while at my day job... But the insane compression you've got going on the whole thing make it kind of grating.

Keep at it!

Sounds all sampled to me. The vocals are distorting. Really badly!! All the music is. Your really clipping in the red. Personally I can't stand the autotune vocals. It's been over done!! It's very repeative. I know this style generally is but towards the end of it I was getting tired of listening. I have no idea what the vocals are saying. Dunno. It's a pretty simple song really. Nothing I couldn't easily do in Fruityloops.

I think you need to think out of the box a bit more. Greater changes. A real singer? add some guitar? Change up the beat?? Some interesting bass? Some cool effects? The drum beat itself isn't that interesting. Pretty plain. It's a start anyways.

A logical and interesting flow of musical progression [more chords], and more hookish melody..added to above very good advice. Very boring, musically. No 'beef'....even for trance.

Is that auto-tune or a vocoder? I think it sounds more like the louder.

You had some issues with 'plosives. (See especially 1:54).

Did you apply any compression to the vox? They're pretty inconsistent volume-wise.

I agree with PI about it sounding like you tracked a lot of things too hot.

Your kick sample has a whistling sound at its tail. That could be either a bad sample or an artifact of the compression.

It's a pretty cool song. Sort of Postal Service/Imogen Heap sound. But the little nits add up.
