I have Cakewalk Pro Audio 9.0 (maybe by dubious means), and it worked fine for quite a while (there were occasions I re installed it about 3 or 4 times with no problems) till I had a major system problem - it messed up more than my Cakewalk... The program told me I needed to re-install the program. So I un-installed it, and started to re-install it; I put my s/n, user, company names, and s/n again with no problems. Then (no matter which time I try, it's every time) it balks out @ 21% of copying and says "error occurred during the move data process: -113". I've reinstalled the WIN98, and since upgraded to WIN ME. I thought it was a problem with missing a system file, but so far hasn't been fixed.

What should I do to fix this? I've reacquired different source files and each of them balks out @ 21%. I'm considering ditching CWPA9 and using the Express that comes with the soundcard I intend to buy very soon. But if I could remedy this first, it'll still be important to me.

I have done a lot more in attempts to fix, but won't waste the band width with every little thing...

that's it, I guess

You did good to have your s/n handy, that is the part that always trix me. Don't give up the ship!
