Creative Audigy NX with Cool edit???

is this a good combination? Also what speakers should i look for? Should i go in for passive speakers or Creative speakers?
 
In a word no.

I would look for a prosumer level interface (Maudio, EMU, etc) The creative sound cards are not designed for music recording and have all sorts of issues (search the forums for details). For speakers, look at some small powered monitors which have a very flat responce since normal computer speakers will color your sound
 
Creative = gamer

Do a search or just look around the boards at all the issues with music production and Creative cards and drivers....

Thanks for the advice. Tryuing to set up a comp at home..will use these inputs. dont know where i can get these soundcards and how much they cost in India but will try,
