Can anyone tell me how I can create an mp3 from my studio produced cd? I want to upload clips of my songs on the cd to the Internet. Is there a simple way for me to do this via my computer or something? Thanks for your valuable time.

Basically you just need software. You need ripping software to "rip" the audio from your internal CD-ROM, and then you need software to encode the ripped audio (usually in .wav format) into the .mp3 format. Some software will perform both functions, and some will do it in a single step (rip and encode).

Here is some ripping software: http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/ This is among the best available, and it's free. I think exactaudiocopy will rip directly to .mp3, but if not, here is one of the better .mp3 encoding programs: http://www.dors.de/razorlame/index.php

That should do it for you.

I think there's another free ripper that called CDex (european?). I've used it to create some decent MP3s :)

i use CEP2's ripping feature of it, works very good, just like Audiograbber.
