Creating a video

What you're going to need is a video capture card, which is entirely different from a video/graphics card. You should be able to get an okay video capture card from Best Buy or over the Net somewhere for under $200. So basically what you'll do then is just hook your camcorder or vcr's outputs into the back of the video capture card, and then using the software which should come with the card, record the video onto your computer. From there you can use the software to tinker with it (edit it, put graphics on, adjust the color, etc.) and then spit it back out onto VHS if you so desire. Be aware, though: if you want decent quality video, you're going to have to use up a bunch of storage space, so hopefully you have a big hard drive....

I am using a 56k modem, IBM compatible computer, with video and sound card pre installed. I have a current VHS Video that I would like to transfer it onto my computer,
but don't have a clue what I need to do that?
Please help me?
