you need to have software that will convert the mp3 back into a .wav file. GoldWave will do this, and their demo version is fully operational.

Open the mp3 file in GoldWave (this will take a little while as the software must do a conversion) then just do a "Save As" and make sure you are saving it as a 16 bit 44.1kHz .wav file. Use your CD authoring software to burn your audio CD disk.

or... if you have winamp (the best mp3 player IMHO and free )you can utlize the disk out plug in rather than the wav out plug in and write a wave file to disk..

or.. you can use a cd burning program like nero burning rom that will take an mp3 and burn it down as a cda file on the fly..
