I'm looking through this thread and don't see my post. I could have sworn I posted in here about 2 days ago. Anyway, awesome guitar as uual. It's a bit slower than the original, but that makes it more dramatic. Love hearing live bands like this. Great stuff, Vari.

Thanks alot Rami...yeah we are kinda starting over again after not playing together for awhile so its a bit rough right now... we'll get there though!
Thanks for listening...I appreciate your feedback!

Your band sound is tight, and...

I am jealous.

The song sounded awash in reverb, so maybe get the mic closer to the source. Hopefully that will minimize the WET room sound. It is a clear recording, though. ;)

Thanx!!

It has a good live sound. I've heard many, many sanctioned & released live recordings that sound much worse.
the auto limiter is almost audible a couple of times but that's to be expected.
The only complaint I would have is the lack of stereo separation. It's a common prob with that mic set up though. See if you can get an adaptor & a pair of electret condensors that you can set up a meter or so apart THEN it'l be reallly raging.
If you want to record concert the best deal is to use the two mic set up & clip/tape/secure a mic over each ear (almost binaural). Mini discs set up this way do a GREAT job of live music.
As to the performance - I like it & it's good to keep songs of that quality ALIVE. I usually don't comment on covers - but the choice really attracted my attention.
Thanks for putting it up

Thanks for posting! I'm pretty excited about using this to record a show....I hope to use it next time Gov't Mule comes around cause they allow taping.I will have to try using the 2 condensor mic's, sounds cool.I like this cause it's a pretty simple setup for recording practice.
I agree with you it's cool to keep some of the old classics alive..I know I'm biased, but the quality of music was pretty good back in the day.... ;)
