Recently I installed your newest drivers for MOTU 2408 PCI 324. If I record and/or play wavfiles from the ANOLOG ports there is NO problem. (I can run an easily 24+ tracks..)
But if I play/record using ANY of the DIGITAL ADAT ports
(fibrecable to my Yamaha o1V mixer Adat-card) I get this problem:
Even with just 1 or 2 tracks with 1 or 2 digital routings I see in
cakewalk the CPU and Harddisk-meter suddenly go red and
"crash". I hear a cracklingsound on my speakers, and it's like a
kind of overload...
I did 4 days of re-tuning my system, formatted my C-drive again,
tested my Ram-memory, reset my Yamaha mixer to factory-
setting....I did all!!!
Even with clean windows, new drivers, fresh cakewalk (tried version
9.0, 9.1 and 9,03) every time I selected any DIGITAL IN/OUTPUT I
got this crash !!
At last I re-installed the old motu-drivers (only 44.1 and 48 Khz)
and everything worked fine again.....
Please help me on this one!!!
Man, I hate when this happens....especially in the middle of a
project !!
