Nominations are now being taken. What is the single crappiest piece of gear you can think of? Who deserves to be nominated and/or placed in the hall?

And who would you have do the induction speach at the ceremony? No giggling. This is serious stuff, folks. I'm on the other line with Canton, and we're setting the wheels in motion, asap.

I know I'm going to get burned for this but I want to add mackie VLZ mixers. I know alot of people love them but I think the mic pres sound like doodie.

And the Presonus Blue Tube, I think a shoebox with a tube in it would sound better.

While we're on the subject of boxes, I should throw in the "guitar" I built years ago as a kid...

Neck: Piece of wooden shingle. Attached to body with nails and glue.

Body: One empty 50-count box of Judges' Cave brand Connecticut wrapper cigars

Strings: A few rubber bands of varying thickness, attached to neck and body by means of more nails and glue

"Electronics": A cheaper-than-cheap-ass 1/8" plug dynamic mic ("came with the stereo") placed inside the cigar box, run into the mic jack of a crap-ass boom box, with the mic gain setting jacked all the way up for that really shitty, fuzzed-out, horrible cheap-transistor distortion

It sounded better than you'd expect. By no means good, just not as heinous as one would expect, considering that it couldn't be tuned (and I had no conception of tuning or playing at the time anyway). And I had the nerve to try to record it. ;)

Would that include the Bently's too? I thought the Rolls on the 747 and the 777 Models were pretty darn good. Whats up?

Chess--I see that no one has mentioned the BBTTE. I assume that our incredible mastering tool must be held in high esteem! :D
