At this site there are mp3 of some joke tunes I record at my house with my tascam 424mkIII and boss br-8. Some of them were my first recordings ever a few years ago. Most of the songs I used a beta 57 and electronic store crappy mics. I would love to get feedback on some of my songs. If you want I can email them directly to you. My aim is: stimpy9i9 and my email is just at aol.

A new genre?

I listened to Maria, cause it was the least abrasive title I could find. I'll have to say, it's different than anything I've heard before. The musical talent is apparant. The song itself kinda reminded me of something Adam Sandler would do. Other than that, not exactly my cup of tea. The groove was there though. Did you play the bass?

Thanks a ton joe for your input. That song was actually the second song I've ever recorded in my life with my first recorder a few years ago. You nailed the adam sandler thing right in the head. When I was younger I would listen to his cds over and over. He was a big influence. The way I recorded it was with the mkIII and did one guitar and one singing track at once then played drums over that with 2 mics. I didn't know how to bounce yet so thats why there was only 4 tracks in total. I know it sounds really muddy and kinda crappy. Thanks a lot again for giving me feedback. I appreciate it a lot.
 
So in you're answer it seems that the bass I heard didn't exist? That's Great! As you can see, I'm very musically inclined.
