Yet more proof that PA9 is cursed. Upgrade to Sonar.
Yo, Sonar/ADD brothers - had an awesome jam/recording session tonite (Fri.) Can't believe the activity in the Cave this evening. Friday night (oh, good morning, Paul) and all these people online chatting, not making music. I feel immensely productive. Goin' ta bed.
We (my mates and me ) are in the process of producing a CD. (Just a vanity project, 1000 copies or so. But with cover art, shrink wrapping, pro mastering, the whole 9 yards). Anyway, because of that the past several weeks have been been proof reading the cover stuff, evaluating the mastering, making group decisions on what to keep and what to change. So the bottom line is I don't think we've recorded anything in over 2 months.
Whoever said, "the fun is in the journey" (or however that saying goes) knew what he was talking about. I had much more fun recording and mixing this thing, then I seem to be having as we approach the actual destination. Or maybe it's that I just don't want to let go. Once this is finalized, it's like I can't go back and tweak anything anymore. Not sure I'll know how to deal with that. You mean that flat harmony part is going to stay flat forever?
Mike, I don't think you would allow a flat harmony to stay forever
Good luck with your project, in my experience of such things, anytime now thgere will be a "creative difference" ruck, where everyone goes off and sulks for a while.....like years.....aka Simon and Garfunkel.
I've just posted again in the "old farts thread", its what keeps me sane whilst working away from home.
