Coverting to Mp3?

Hi all

I've been given an original disk of Cool Edit Pro 2.0 by someone who found it 'surplass to requirements' and it looks great......only I can't seem to find how/where to convert tracks (wma, CD etc) to Mp3, although I've been told it can be done.

Replies in small words and visual aids only please!

In edit view click "File > Save As". There is a drop-box labeled "Save as type". All the formats that Audition (CEP) can save as are listed here. Once you've selected a type (say mp3) you can click the "Option" button underneath the drop menu to view and tweak the available options for the specified format.
