damn homey

sounds like any other pac rapper, nothing remarkable about it.

There are 3 guys in that rap group.... the first guy DOES sound somewhat like 2pac, but it is his natural voice. What makes them remarkable is that they wrote the lyrics for each of their verses in 10 minutes, and completed the vocals in ONE TAKE. I have heard HUNDREDS of rappers.... none could do that on a continual basis. Thanks for the opinion though... any opinion on the R&B track??

ok

i didn't give you a fair critique because i read a post of yours earlier. it wasn't professional. it's korma. if you give professional critiques, you get em back.

i'll be back

i'll be back to give you my critique, it won't be as informative as the one you left, that was some( how to be a marketable artist 101) type of ish. i asked for proffesional and you definitely came with some deep stuff. i'll try and be back before the week is out. i showed my appreciation for you going back and doing a really good review on the other post, but i wanted to make sure that i showed it on your post also.

not really...

feeling the song, but as for recording...the sound is not bad. Don't know if you are in more for content critique or mixing so I'll try to give a little of both. Some of the vocals appeared to be masked by other instruments. DId not listen in detail to determine which instruments, but will get back....

The song is not very catchy in content (generally takes something really complex and intellectual or on the flipside something so crazy and different that you grow to like it). Not much stuff in the middle goes very far. Who is the singer? It sounds like (maybe my crappy comp speakers) the performer has a slight pitch problem. Some of the notes don't quite fall in sync with the key that the track is played in.

The track has some good elements, but I guess speaking on total production, a little more work could go into perfecting this piece, but ofcourse I am a nobody who knows nothing:?

Really feelin' "Sad Melodic 16bars" - it's tight.

- Off Topic -

Damn, jug - ur new avatar is, well.... scary

b morris

Which song was it you were speaking of... Guy Like Me?

If so, I agree with some of your statements... I left my old production company in February, and we recorded that song a month ago, when I JUST got my new pro tools setup, so I was still learning the equipment, all the other tracks with vocals were recorded at my old studio, with much less quality equipment. Now that I have pro tools and am getting pretty familiar with it, the new recordings we do will be better. It is AMAZING how new equipment can bring a whole new inspiration creatively..I guess maybe I should have waited till we recorded some more tracks with the new equip, but hey, As long as no one says, THAT SUCKS, I can live with it!!
