So lately i've been pushing my mixes to this point and thought i'd ask what you guys think of the general balance eq and all and all!

I listened to the Iron Sheik song.

I thought the guitars sounded pretty good. They could use slightly less gain and a little more chug. A bit fizzy in the high end. But those are minor complaints. Overall they were real good.

The mix is kind of all guitars. They cover the vocal and bass.

I thought the vocal was good. A bit too much reverb for me. But the tone was good and the singer is good.

I'm not a fan of the incredibly-smashed-snare sound. Sometimes it works, but I think a more natural snare sound would be better for this song.

More suggestions than anything. I thought it was a real good mix.

Thanks yeah i pretty much made it all guitars on this song ahahah. The vocals are actually pretty dry but i used lots of delays and yeah probly too much meh. The snare wasn't really well recorded i probly should've used samples and blend them with the original or try to find a way out with the original alone.

ahaha i understand no prob! Well the song is for a contest and my submit was like on the last day we could upload so i just had to cut short some stuff. Hope this makes sense...

EDIT : oh and for vocals, just thought it felt right, still think it does but could we reworked i guess.
