New here, but would like to know if there are any Lexicon Studio Core 32 users out there? (If thats a laugh I hear I'm outta here!) Really, just bought the Core and an 8 I/O interface and then found out you need another card to cascade up to three of them, but Lexicon no longer supports this unit, or manufactures this card. But its still an 8 I/O. Worth keeping? Or off it as quick as you know what?
fitz:confused:

If you don't like the cave then stay out of the cave. It's that simple, or are you as stupid as you seem?

Cave? What the fuck are you talking about? The Cave is down a few forums.

Oh...never mind. I see. Yeah, what the hell is that dude's problem?

Oh, I see. Not a nice way to make friends. Shouldn't this have stayed in the Cave? Lighten up, folks.

Anyway, Rick, the only thing I'd be worried about in terms of that card is updated drivers. If they no longer support the card then they probably won't be releasing any updates for it.

If it works, though, and you've already bought it, why not hang on to it use it?

Have fun,
Chris

Havn't tried it yet

Hi Chris, your right about the cave. Besides, who needs cockroachs for friends. Most people I know at least clean thier toilet once in a while. And, they followed me here, like a bad stench. Thanks for the opinion. You, at least have something to offer. I appreciate it. Think I'll do that. Drivers are something I'm not familiar with yet.(Except the kind that run stop signs!:D

p.s. If you smell that stench again, get out the lysol.

I’m a design engineer with tons of experience in mechanical, piping, and tooling. I’ve used AutoCAD since 1986, as well as Hewlett Packard ME-10 and ME Designer, Evans and Sutherland CADD, and Intergraph. I’m also very adept at digital recording and midi, and have been a musician since I was eleven, so it looks like we have a few things in common. I’m sure I could give you some useful advice, but since you seem to have the idea that you can butt into my business in a completely different forum and then label me as a cockroach, I will ignore any request for assistance coming from you. It was you sir, who followed me into respective forums, as the posting dates will show, so I suggest you get out the Lysol and clean up your own act.
