I am new to the list, and thinking about picking up some Alesis equipment, so I may shoot a few questions out there over the next few weeks so I can pick the minds of you vets. OK first question, on the Alesis HD24 can you copy internal tracks from one track to another. For example if I laid down vocals down on track 1, can I copy them to 2 other tracks as well to throw some affects on them and pan them around?
On the master link Where can I find some thorough reviews or articles? I have read a few, but they were not that conclusive. Thanks for any responses.

Yes - copying tracks, or parts of tracks and moving them around is a no-brainer with the HD24............

I've done that kind of thing with guitar tracks and I think it'd sound better if I just had the guitar player play it twice. There's a neat thing that happens when they play the second time... they aren't exactly with the first take and it, in my opinion sounds better than copying, pasting and delaying a few ms.

However, copy/paste is super fast to do on the hd24 and you may only get one good take out of your musician/singer. that's happened to me too.

HD24 RULES!!
