Copy audio from one to another

I record some music on to a track, how can I copy and paste part or all of it to another track? So have to tracks with nearly the same thing.

right click
loop duplicate - 1x
move to new track

evt;
right click
convert to unique copy

or...

right click on the other track > Insert > (select the same wav)

Then edit that wav as you see fit... highlight and trim or cut what you like
