Hmm, Im not sure that thing would work if you wanted to tune a drum really high, or even kinda high?
 
Hmmm, does seem quicker. Seems like it would keep the torque fairly even as well.

Don't see how it will help with fine tuning. Definitely interested if the price isn't stupid.
 
It seems like a very good quick way to change a head should one go at a gig. But I wouldn't use it to tune. I might get one for emergencies.
 
Yeah... seems cool to change the head but not to fine tune..

It will help some drummers with tuning. I've seen drums with one tensioner too tight, seemingly a full octave off from all the others, but the drum still sounds in tune. This device will at least get them all close to one another. Minor tweaking is all that is needed, which is the easy part.

It will prevent stretching the head at any one spot.
 
Well, I am anxious to try one out just for curiosity..

That's pretty cool looking. Makes you wonder why similar devices aren't already in common usage.
