Here's an old song that I always loved the sound of the vocals on. Love the echo. Every time the singer hits that high note, like on the word "dress" it really hits a frequency that I always thought sounded very strange and cool. It almost hurts.
I also love the Tele's and the tune really sounds like "The Hollies do Creedence".
I've always wondered what they would have used to get the echo at that time - maybe an Echoplex? Or that trick where you record on two tracks and play one back in the "wrong " playback position.
