Okay, the cool.ini file is the place where all your presets are stored.
I learned how to find it finally: if you click on the Cool Edit folder in Explorer, it doesn't list the .ini file. But if, in Explorer, you click on View>Folder Options>View and then *deselect* 'Hide File Extensions for known file types', you suddenly see what you're looking for.
But in addition to the cool.ini file, there's also a coolacm.ini file and a coolmp3.ini.
Anybody have the faintest idea what those two contain?
