[B :)]Hi, a few months back i downloaded a free version of cool edit, it was a fairly recent version, and it had the brainwave synchronizer function on it. I have downloaded this same cool edit program sinse and the brainwave synchronizer function has been removed, does anyone know where it has gone, and where i can get a copy of it from.[/B]

I'll bet you're the first person on the planet to even notice that it's missing, lol. :D

Sorry I can't help, but I have to ask, what does it do? I never messed around with it in the old version of CEP.

If memory serves, it was supposed to provide left and right panning based on specific frequencies of lower level brain functions (beta and delta waves?). The precept is that (if used properly) it could induce emotional responses by simply panning repeatedly at given frequencies.

I doinked with it, and it did indeed create wierd "feelings" for me, but mostly just making me dizzy and such (I never mastered the technique). It was kinda cool though...

The free demo version only let you choose 2 catagories of the FX from start up. I expect if you pick the right "banks" you will find it. In "Special" isn't it?

So it's an automated hiphop dj?

what version of cep have you got? if you got cep2 then it should still be there.if you right click on the panel where the other fx are you should have an option of how many rows you want select 3 then got to effect and add the effect you are looking for.maybe this will help.if not then you haven't got cep2
