Cool Edit Pro

I own a digital copy of Cool Edit Pro. I cannot find my original email, which is required to move the program from my defunct computer to my new. Is there anyone that has experienced this, knows the program or just can point me in the right direction? Also, I've contacted the support personnel, but they say I need the original email.

That sounds like a lame excuse and I would have let them know it.
