Is it possible to record streaming audio from
Windows Media Player with Cool Edit Pro?

There's a radio show that comes on daily I
would like to record and listen to later.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

First, you will need to figure out how to route your computer's playback signal back into the recording path, What soundcard are you using? Most Creative soundcards have a "what you hear" option in the windows recording mixer, and most other soundcards will have something like it, maybe called "wave out", or "stereo Mix" or something.

In the Edit View...

Right click on the record button and select "Timed Record"

Left click on the record button and a dialog will pop up that lets you select the recording properties, when you have those set click on OK

A second dialog now pops up that lets you set the date, start time, and length of the recording, when you have those set click OK

You're all set.

:)

Strryder you are the man, or woman.
Took me a minute to find the "What u Here"
check box.
Your instructions worked like a charm.

Thanks Again :D
