I was listenig to triple J and I heard this. I had to drive around for 5 minutes longer just so that I could get the name of the people who composed it.
It's an acoustic version of metallica's one and some song called "take 5"
Cool stuff - You might check out Stunz and Ferril. I know I'm not spelling it right. But they come from South America and do a similar style. There's also a German guy (Ottmar Liebert?) that does cool stuff like this too.
Thanks for posting this! It's a great reminder for me to go back and listen to their stuff
There's some guy, i forgot his name, but he does all metallica songs acoustic and switches them into a major key. It's really goofy cause half the songs sound like a little kids song. (Take my hand, off to never never land..).
The triple J reference caught my eye . Actually, I've heard the album in question being played on SBS sometimes late at night once there scheduled programs finish.
Anyways, how are you going? You're not forgotten (I still enjoy your CD's sometimes late at night) but I've been totally immersed (obsessed ) in other music oriented things away from recording that I've tended to become somewhat less communicative than ever .
PS: You wanna buy a Les Paul......that Desert Burst is still here
