converting Wav. to MP3

Could someone clue me in on a hassel-free way to convert a Wav. file to MP3? I read everything they had to offer at Pixelite.com and it didnt help much...
 
ummm, did you check out mp3.com??????
Musicmatch jukebox is the cheapest and by a long shot the easiest mp3 conversion prog out there...
 
Both Jukebox and the Xing encoder are good. For more options check out www.download.com and search for MP3 encoders. Last time I did that I think it listed over 20 of them for download. Mostly demos, but some shareware, and even some free ones.

If you have Sound Forge just mix your final 2 track stereo file there, then select MP3 in the format choice menu.When you name and save as (.wav, .mp3, etc.) Sound Forge will render the file as mp3.
ps. I was told this wouldn't work by someone in the forums but it worked for me!

Anyone in the Florida panhandle area can bypass shipping and clean up!
