Hello,
Note: I am new in this forum. And I am sorry for my English. I am just a beginner in English.
I bought a m-audio firewire 410 sound card. And I have a problem with that sound card about converting midi to audio.
I have an integrated soundcard (soundmax) in my asus motherboard. I achieved midi to wav process in the past over this soundcard Soundmax.. I was using Windows mixer. I was checking from the Recording (in the Adjust Volume For field) section the wave mix out coulumn. Then I was pressing on the record button in the audio channel. And the midi channel was converting to audio. That was all.
Now, when I call the windows mixer, it comes m-audio mixer. And in this mixer there is nothing in the Recording section.
I thought I must use FW 410 Control panel. I tried in different combinations to achieve it. But I couldn' t.
Would you help me please about this problem?
I have two questions:
1. In Sonar 3, in "audio options - asio" part, I choose "FW410 ASIO Analog Out 1/2" as Playback Timing Master. And I choose, "FW410 ASIO Analog in 1" as Record Timing Master. Is that right?
2. How can I set the parameters in FW410 Control Panel to achieve converting midi to wave?
I thank you for the answers.
