converting midi to mp3

I have a korg trinity pro keyboard and I'm using the cakewalk express version 6 to record my music to. Is there a way to convert these midi files to mp3? If not, what would I need in order to record/convert to mp3. THANKS

You may be able to do the conversion with
cool edit pro 2000. You can log on to cool
edit pro and download there demo version which was fully operational last time I did
it but you can only use two options at a time
. Since converting midi to mp3 is a singal
operation you should be able to use it if it
is capable of the conversion. I know I used
it to convert my wav file from 48000 to 44.1
then to mp3. Read in the cool edit forum it
may answer it there or just download it and
give it a try.

I toohave cakewalk express 6 and want to record from my Yamaha MD4s minidisc recorder to my cakewalk. I want know what free software there is to record a whole track instead of 1 min. I read something about CDex? I also want it to send some music via e-mail.
