I know, why don't I ask in the Nuendo forums, but you need the dongle key code to post over there and I'm not going to be home for a few days and don't have it with me. I'm meeting with the mixer in a few hours and I need to how this is done generally. He's super busy and I don't want to spend money having him walk me thru this. I've worked with protools but have never been the jockey so I don't know it super well. Here goes.....
We've recorded everything in Nuendo. I'm hopeing someone can give me the rough outline or walk me through preparing it and exporting it to pro tools. Both computers are PC. He's running LE. I know I have to render all the tracks the same length. I think I have to export each track as an individual wav file. Is there a batch way of doing this? It'd be no fun to have to export each one individually. Do I have to do all of this or does protools have the capability to translate other programs' files directly?
Another problem is that there is some automation and some edits (cross fades, fade outs & ins) that I've done in preperation that I'd like to preserve.
I know it's a big bunch of questions but any Nuendo or Protools Jockey help would be MUCHO Appreciated. Thanks in advance!
