I am testing a 4 track recorder that samples at 32KHz. (Zoom MRS-4
)
When I copy the tracks to my computer and use n-track to convert them to 44.1 alot of hissy/ringing noise gets introduced.
I do not have this problem with tracks that come from the Zoom ps-02 which are sampled at 32150 hz.
I found a work around to the 32K problem, by first converting to 48khz then down to 44.1. When I do this there is no hissing/ringing in the track, but I worry that all the conversions really degrade the sound quality.
How can I use 32khz tracks to mix a song using n-track that I need to burn to CD?
(I'm assuming that I need 44.1Khz to create music CDs)
Any ideas would be apprciated.
