Controlling computer tracks with my desk

Hi folks,

I currently have a Studiomaster 18 / 8 / 2 (with expansion boards to make it 20 track), SB Live with LiveDrive and I run Magix Audio.

The problem I have at the moment, is that I am not sure how to control the tracks on my software on the actual mixing desk. It seems it would be much better if I could, and then I could add all the EQ from the desk and Auxillery effects.

The question I have is how do I do this? Do I need a soundcard with multiple outputs or something, and will Magix Audio support a setup like this.

I'm running a StudioMaster 8 buss console too in conjunction with a MOTU 2408mkII and an Alesis HD24. If you want to use the desk, you'll need a sound card with as many analog outs as you want channels (I'm doing 24). I don't know about your software, read your manual on that subject to see how compatible it is.
