Controller curve editing seems to be poor

Either the controller curve editing seems to be very poorly designed in SX 3, or I'm not understanding how to use it properly.

I'd like to be able to differentiate between one unit intervals between the value at which I can drop, say, the end of a line. However, I only can jump between say 50 unit intervals when I drag my mouse. What's the deal, can I make it snap to certain values, or simply scroll between integer values? Or is there a way to type in the value at which you want a line to start and end?

Thanks a lot, any help is appreciated :)

I'll give a little more detailed description of what I'm trying to do and why I'm trying to do it...

For example, I'm drawing a sine wave to control the Pitchbend. I want the amplitude of the sine wave to be exactly 4095. However, Cubase won't allow me to set the amplitude with fine enough control to accomplish this... if I drag the mouse to a level close to where I want to be, the meter reads 4054. Then, when I drag the mouse up very, very slowly to the point at which the number changes, the number that is then displayed is 4108.

It is true that I could select the peak of the sine wave, after having drawn the sine wave, and enter the exact value "4095" in the event infoline. However, the shape of the wave would then be distorted, and it would no longer be a sine wave.

Does anyone have any helpful advice?

Increase the height of the controller lane, but dragging on the dividing line between the controller and the note entry panes up. This will allow you to have finer control, as you'll have more room to move the mouse.

You can also use the Logical Editor to scale the controller values aftewards.
