contant clicking in monitors . .

Hi,

Anyone else ever had this problem? If I'm not working on a sonar project (or listening to a cd) my speakers produce a constant repetitive clicking.

I'm running a pentium 4 Dell, Sonar 1.0, Delta 66 with Omni Studio.

The setup works fine for recording and whatnot, it's just the clicking when the system is idle that had me concerned about possibly burning something out along the way.

Sounds like a clocking issue..... (ie, digital word clock)

thanks bear. would i make an adjustment to the soundcard software or the pc itself? is it something i should worry about? like i said, it's only a problem when i have the omni studio on and i'm not working in sonar . . .

Mine made a wierd sound that was kinda like FSK if you've ever heard that. Then I realized it was my mobile phone sitting next to the computer. Once I move the phone a ways from the computer the noise went away.
