Contagious!!

I've been tryin' to get my flow in motion with the Contagious CD. In truth, this is my sophmore CD. I recorded "Enter My World" under the alais Mista Rook in 2000. The only difference is since then my lyrics have stepped up and I make my own beats and production so it's 100 times better then the 2000 CD. I chose the name Fieva because I'm gonna get sick on things from now on.
(I'll probably update this later when some of the songs are finished and available)

Here's the tracklist

1. Intro - ER Visit (a hospital skit, I had to do something creative with the name Fieva)

2. Like My Style (title might speak for itself, should be a club banger)

3. Ghetto (a funny track about the ghetto, straight humor)

4. Role Model (a sarcastic rap about why rappers aren't role models)

5. Skit - Public Service Announcement (an intro to my next song)

6. March! (my view on Bush and politics)

7. Don't Blame Me (my take on havin' real game and using it wisely)

8. Riddin' Skinnies (a tight song about cars, should be a club banger, based on Ridin' Spinners by Three 6 Mafia)

9. Talkin S*** (a song about people who got nothin better to do than hate on you)

10. Skit - Beef (an argument with me getting into it with someone else)

11. I Got Guns (the result of what happened in the previous skit)

12. Klepto (a song written by a thief, for all of the theives lol)

13. Coastin' (a coast reppin' track, showin' love all around and tellin' it like it is)

14. Skit - The Letter (a clip of me writing a letter into my journal while I'm talking to myself about it)

15. Problems (a deep look into some of the stuff I dealt with over the years)

16. Desperado (a wild west tale of the adventures of Infimus McGraw, check the beat Legends Fall on my site for a better feel)

17. Without You (a song I wrote about a producer I tried to do work with in my past who spit nothing but negatives at me)

18. Outro - ER Visit II (The continuation of the first skit in the hospital room)
 
Hmmm, looking at the tracklist, I'm further ahead than I was thinking. I'm about 70% done with writing the lyrics and most of the beats are already made. Some of them are coming off my site, while others are being custom made.

You are. Ain't nothin' changed. I just didn't add all the features. I got a couple of other tracks I might look for features on too so since those tracks aren't confirmed yet, I didn't list them. I'll give credit in the album and on this forum when that's over with though.

By the way, how you want me to send that beat over? I'd rather work with the wav version instead of the mp3.
 
Yeah, check your pm for my e-mail. and what do you want me to do?
 
Ummm. I didn't see it in there. I'm thinkin' we'll use the wav file as the base. Then when you guys get done with your verses, strip the beat off and send the acapella of the verse to me and I'll arrange it. Once I have it all mixed down and all, I'll add it to soundclick as an mp3 and post it.

Sound good?
 
Yo Carter, if you have hi-speed, let me know. I'll send you an invite for gmail. I don't think there's an upload limit on it, so that'd probably be the easiest way to transfer stuff around, or using aim (I just don't trust it like I used to though).
 
Yeah, are you going to send me the beat before I get off work, if not I'll PM you my home E-mail.
 
I only have high speed at work..... To cheap to pay for it at home..
 
Ok. then we'll work around that.

I'll set up the beat for download. Download it from my site and then record your verse on it. Take the whole Cubase folder you make for it and burn that on a CD if you can. You might be able to take the beat off and then save the acapella as a single wav file and then add that to the CD too.

Once you have that, mail it to me. I'll email you my address. I'll take the acapella and mix it in with the beat on my Cubase. I think your using SX3. I'm using SX1, but it shouldn't matter. I'll use the Cubase file just in case I have to do extra tweaking or anything.

That might work.
 
Beat is downloadable on Soundclick now. Should be the first on the mp3 music list.

Damn, I wanted to add more roms to mine but I never got around to it because I have a couple of keyboards too!!!! How expensive is the Roms nowadays?
