I just bought a new sound card, the Delta 66. I got it to work ok, and the only connection I have to it is that of my monitors. I'm using the 1/2 outs. When I open up Sonar, I'll choose from the preset menu for a 16 channel audio setup. I'll open up the console view and I'll look at the subs and the main mix sliders. In the subs section, there are 6 subs (master, subgroup1, subgroup2, effectsend1, effectsend2, headphones). And in the master section there is 3 pairs of sliders, (m-audio delta 1/2, m-audio 3/4, maudio spdif out l/r.) What main's slider should I worry about or is most important? After installing the sound card this got me a little confuse. Can someone explain this to me?

I usually don't mess with those and have my master sub set to the proper hardware output. Those 3 sliders are merely the master level for those hardware outs, but all can be controlled without them.

Just make sure the individual track outs are set 1/2 or 3/4 and panned L or R
