Hi Guys
Can this be done. I'm looking at buying the new Presonus DigiTube mic pre, but I'm wondering if I buy a single pre with S/pdif out, am I wasting an input? If i like the unit and want to buy another to have a pair, is there a way to connect them both to the S/pdif in on the 001 so that they each take a separate input via the S/pdif?
Is there something like a S/pdif HUB where you can plug in multiple devices and select what signal goes down what path? (Maybe I just like typing S/pdif :D )
Thanks
Mark

Oh.... Anyone got any comments on the DigiTube unit itself?

I have no experience with the unit itself, but i'd suggest that you get a small digital mixer/patchbay. (or a hub as you called it)

Hi Markd,
Fostex makes a digital patchbay I think its call DP-8, and Midiman makes a unit called Digipatch. Both allow you to patch between s/pdif optical and/or s/pdif coaxial. The units sell for $240 to $280.
