So I've just started out with my home recording studio and am planning to buy a behringer xenyx 1202fx mixer (short on budget). Only problem is, i'm not quite sure how to hook these up to my powered monitors as my M-Audio AV30s don't come equipped with trs jacks and only run through rca cables. From my understanding, the only way to control my monitors from the control room knob on the 1202fx is by plugging the trs cables from the control room out on the mixer to my monitors. Is there any way I could use RCA cables to connect my AV30s to the mixer and be able to control the volume from the control room knob?
Currently, my plan is to connect my tascam us 122 to the mixer through the RCA line outs on the card, and find some way to connect the mixer to my monitors through rca cables and somehow control the volume of the monitors with the control room knob on the mixer as well.
