Does anyone have any experience connecting these units? I just got my synth yesterday, I don't have my pickup yet it had to be ordered. What I want is to plug in my regular guitar in the GT8 or vice versa without unplugging and switching between pedals too much. Or am I stuck using them separatly because of the pick up issue.
You'll need the Roland pickup and 13 pin cable to access the GR33. When you get the pickup, connect a 1/4 inch cable from the guitar-out jack on the GR33 to the input of the GT8. Then run left and right outs from the GT8 to the left and right returns on the GR33. That's if you want stereo - you can also use one cable and have it be mono. Or, you can run the output from the GT8 directly into an amp if you have separate amplification for the guitar and synth - you don't have to use the guitar returns on the GR33. Hope this helps.
