I recently purchased an Eleven Rack to record my guitar direct, and have found that the headphone output impedance is unable to drive my 600 ohm Beyerdynamics. I'm therefore looking to connect my Fiio headphone amp to the 11R, but am unsure what cables are needed. Here's a link to the connections on an Eleven Rack...http://www.derringers.com.au/product_images/w/532/Eleven_Rack__21852_zoom.jpg

Thanks in advance,

Depends upon what else you have running out of the Eleven rack. You could try XLR to RCA cables x 2, Eleven Rack main out to headphone amp Aux ins but I wouldn't guarantee it. Where are you plugging your monitors in?

There are a couple of way "proper" audio / studio type headphone amps work... that unit you have isn't what I'd call a "proper" audio / studio unit... and so doesn't work the same way.

Have a look at the back of the Presonus 4 channel heaphone amp and you'll see what I mean.. you take your main outs into the unit and then out to monitors via balanced TRS connections and you plug your heaphones in the front. That's a more normal config for these things..
