hey all~

i got really good feedback from my first posting that i thought i'd post another song for review.

my friend eric wrote this number and we initally recorded it over a year ago. we added some new tracks to hopefully give it some new life. i mixed it hoping for sort of a dreamy vocal feel that sit down in the mix... a'la radiohead.

I suggest put the (lead) vocal and the bas a bit up.
There are 2 'rythem' guitarts in it right?, one of them is 2 soft (i think the right one i'm on comp speakers right now)

I'm a big Radiohead fan..

sooo this caught my attention..

I like the song. The drums and vocals sound really nice.

The guitar that is sitting in the left speaker is distracting and there's too much of it. I think it would suit the song better if it came in and out at select times...ie, chorus or pre chorus. let the song build a bit. I don't know if that screws with your vision of the tune, but that's just my opinion.
I like the "backwards" solo guitar a lot.
Bring up the bass guitar as well.

Again - I dig the tune. great job with performance and songwriting.

Cool song. I dig the arrangement but I think I would like to hear more bass and vocal. Also I think the toms are a little boomy but that might be my room.

thanks for the feedback guys! after listening in my truck (usually my judge, since i listen to alot of music while driving) i do agree with that the left guitar needs some work. bringing it in and out a bit may be my answer. i'll work on it a bit tonight and post an update.
