I'm interested in these so-called "clonewheel" organs that mimic Hammond B-3s, but unfortunately I don't exactly have $1500-2000 to spend on a modern clone, at the moment. I've come across these old analog Korg CX-3s, apparently dating from around 1979.
Any opinions on these organs? I'm going to assume that they're decent enough, but certainly don't match the technology that today's B-3 clones have (not to mention the lack of features). It's a bit hard to find information on them around the internet since information about the new CX-3 comes up, so I thought I would ask here.
I don't need an exact replica of the B-3 sound, but I'm wondering if these old CX-3s are even worth investing time and money into. Any info would be swell.
Hats off
