Hey I bought a Labtec Powered Computer Speaker and Subwoofer System, to hook up to my Pod.

The system pumps out quite a bit of bass, and the satelites are not tinny at all. The system allthough not incredibly accurate, but then neither are guitar amps, seems to go very will with the Pod. I enjoy the sound imenselly. Placing the speakers on the floor gives them nice bass reinforcement, and a nice guitar amp like tone.

Also the satelites can be spread apart, giving you that stereo amp sound, makes the effects sound great!!

This is a very nice setup for studio play, certainly not loud enough for any thing else.

If you have a Pod and you don't want to spend big bucks on an amp, I highly recomend you give this a try.

Now for the bad part, I had to drive all the way to Office Depot, and spend $42.00!!

Could be worse.

At least you ain't takin the bus to GC to spend $420.

Hey GT,

I have a POD to record direct to My DPS16. Currently im unfortunatly using my aiwa stereo speakers. Do the computer speakers work good for this too?
and how clear are they?

Sondriven,

These are some great little speakers, for use with pod!! They have lots of bass, and plenty of treble, and yes they are clear, if not overdriven.

They would not be my choise for monitor speakers. But they work great, for turning your pod into a very good little guitar amp.

The one modification I made, was to duct tape over the subwoofer port, to tighten up the bass, this also makes it so the amp doesn't have to work as hard.

They won't blow your ears off, but they have great tone, and that's much more important, in my book!

I got them on sale for $42.00, that's after taxes, trully a bargain!
