I have yet to even start to play with computer recording, but here is my question. I already have a couple audio computer programs such as Cubase SE, Cool Edit, and a couple more (I forget their names). Anyway, as I said I have yet to get into the computer recording stage at all.
My Question(s): IF I go that route with what I have, or even buy Pro Tools, is there a mixer, or controller, with 24 actual inputs that I can hook right into my P-4 computer somehow so I can mix using the mixer, instead of playing with faders using a mouse on a monitor?
I am looking for something that I can plug into the computer, it has to have 24 inputs (like my Mackie 24X8 board) and allow me to control everything from the board.
I know this gadget has to be out there>?>?
If so, whats it called, whats the best one(s) to use and why? And how does this thing plug in, so that you get 24 fader controls into your computer?
Thanks
AJ
