Computer crash

I have just spent the last couple of hours fixing up my computer from a HD crash. I use the computer for editing tracks in Cubase SX3.

Makes me glad I use a stand alone multitrack recorder - never had any problems in two years of use.

if it was a head crash it _can_ happen to a standalone recorder as harddrives are basically all the same... I'd bet the multitrack has a 7200RPM IDE drive...

software crashes like a corrupt partition table or even accidental fdisk are pretty easy to recover.

I remember, a recording studio I know here in the Philippines.. the one who's running it is my close friend.. their apple G5 Crashed. haha.. all the songs from artists who recorded there were gone. lmao. It was a good place. Digi Design, Pro Tools, Mac.. the works @_@
