Compressors--is mine good, what else do I need?

Hey, I purchased a Presonus ACP-22(dual channel compressor) for $150, which is half of what it usually goes for, and it does seem to do everything that a compressor is supposed to but I just wanted to hear some feedback on it. I guess you could say that I really don't have a super developed ear yet so I probably wouldn't be albe to say whether it is good or bad. Also, what are some suggestions for more compressors, I've been using the Presonus on my drum overheads and want more for when doing entire bands at one time (bass, guitar, vocals). The 3630 is down to $99, and i have heard some bad stuff about it, but it is really popular too. Im lookin in that price range around $150, like the dbx 266, alesis 3630, i really don't know what else. Do you see a need for compression to be used on drums too(besides the overheads, which i have found to have helped out a lot)? Thanks a lot for the time.
 
Here's a review.

I don't know anything about this unit, that reviews looks positive, but I'd basically guarantee that the RNC would be better.
 
Forget the 3630..... piece of crap........ the 266 is only marginally better.........

The RNC is a winner -- but it has no other features on it EXCEPT for excellent compression. (no gates, EQ, de-esser, etc...) But still - you'd have to shell out quite a bit of dough for something that outperforms it.......

..........and also give a thought to the Behringer Composer Pro or
Autocom.
The 3630 is popular in a lot of circles primarily as it most useful
as a doorstop,bookend, child-booster seat(with blanket) and
a paper-weight (The 3630 provides waayyy too many unwanted
sound artifacts during compression and gating; I know. I got one)
