compressor/limiter for sonar

What would be a good comp/lim to use with Sonar, dissapointed it didnt come with one.
and is it a good idea to compress separate files or the finished product?

1) sonitus makes the ultrafunk series of dynamic and fx processors. i've got cakewalk, and ultrafunk compressors, oh and waves also. i like ultrafunk the best.

2) both, if necessary. you compress the individual tracks when mixing, then compress (multiband if you have it) the mix if necessary as a part of mastering.

you may want to get a particular compressor plug in, but i think even basic Sonar comes with some plug ins for dynamic processing....they may not be the greatest, but usable.
