So I've got some songs but i live in a goddamned apartment and my schedule is more like a vampire's than any human so Im wondering what kind of software I should look into buying if I want to get some 'fuller' sounding arangements (strings, trumpets, etc.). I'm looking into midi for strings and stuff but what can I use for drums? I've heard alot about Fruity Loops but are there any other alternatives? Are there any software that could handle programmable bass as well or should I leave this to midi? I've also heard about 'Band in a Box', what's the deal with this? Also, does anyone know of any amp modeling software so I can keep everything contained in the CPU?
