I'm writing the music for a film and I'm having a huge probem. I've bought a brand new computer - though I'm running an old 1.0.5.58 Cubase SX on it. Everything works really well the virtual insruments etc and the audio to midi timing during record is spot on.

When I play back the midi timing is slightly ahead of itself - adjusting in by a about semi-quaver - Can't for the life of me think what can be causing it. It's definitely not my bad timing.

I'm using

A athlon 64 3.2 ghz
Darla sound Card
Midisport 2X2

I've tried using a module rather the using a vst instrument and it still happens????

There is probably an 'official' fix for this, but I don't know it. If the shift is uniform, would it be possible for you to adjust the tracks by hand, moving them back a semi quaver? It's a pain if you have loads of midi, but it's the only thing I can think of.

Is there a plug in delay compensator screwing things up somewhere?
