Great, great song to cover. A popular song but a unique choice. Most people cover cliche crap. You picked a good one. :D

Overall I think it's pretty good. There's a few problem areas though, to my ears. For one, the drums are boxy and the drum reverb is bad. For example, the kick and snare are very roomy, but that ride cymbal is pinging away right up front and to the right. How does that happen? Back in the day those drums woulda been mono. I get that you wanna sound authentic, but it aint 1962 anymore. You just can't sound old with new stuff. It's very difficult. If you want big roomy sounding drums to sound old-school authentic, you gotta record them in a big roomy room. Also, it seems there's a lot of mids stacking up with the rhythm guitars and keys and stuff. A little better EQ and panning there might help. That metal sounding lead doesn't work at all. Basically, the sound of this thing is stuck in the middle somewhere. You stayed true to the arrangement and the performances are all very good, but it's like half modern, half old school, and you didn't change it enough to make it all work. Mix this baby in mono. Just my 2 cents dude. Love the wah-wah-wah-wah's. :D

Yep, good choice of cover - Del was a sad classic.
The ride is too out there Greg's right.
I'm not as worried about the solo but I did miss the overdriven farfisa.
Maybe a surf guitat solo instead.
I do agree with Greg about the potential for a mono mix - not an easy thing to do but well worth it though you'll have to deal with the mid mud to get it to work.
Good capture & performances just needs some work.

Well, I'm a sucker for this type of music so thumbs up! Maybe just nudge that ride cymbal a little towards the center to address Greg's complaint. Maybe try out a different effect on the lead.
